Just a little one off painting I had floating around in my head for an upcoming exhibition at the end August. Still painting people and things related to Colorado but exploring the idea of multiples where I change up the composition slightly and colors for different effect. We’ll se where this takes me.
March painting photo dump
Technical I made four but haven’t finished the details on the last one.
Couple more tattooed cowboys
Ghosts of Old Denver

Sometimes you just gotta
Make fun of the art world and misinformation. Here’s an old piece from 2019 “The Humorist” and a new one “The Treachery of Words.” Both are part of the super secret “Bootleg Sideshow” group exhibition opening October 7th at Core New Art Space in the Hub at 40 West, 6501 W Colfax Ave in Lakewood
Arizona Experiments
Spent a few weeks out in the desert making art. 🏜 🌵
Call For Entry
Celebrate at our new location. WOW! (WIDE OPEN WHATEVER) has been a Denver metro-area tradition for over 35 years and local artists of all skill levels and media (except for video) are invited to submit entries. Come and enjoy this exhibition honoring the work and diversity of our community.
Seems more relevant these days
Painting I made back in 2018 of and unnamed person wrapped in an American flag while it burns, unfortunately it seems all the more relevant these days. As the republicans continually dismantle our individual rights and the democrats seem to not have the appetite or cohesion to actually try to fix things. I want to be optimistic about everything but I honestly don’t see it getting any better in my lifetime.
And another one
I love spending several hours working on something and then not knowing how I actually feel about it.
Time for packaging
25 black ink on white paper 25 white ink on black paper for a total of 50 edition varied block prints. Super pleased with how these turned out. Now off to destroy the block and make a cancellation print for proof. Oh and if anyones interested in purchasing one drop me a line, $25 until they’re gone.
Also super excited about my new tags for 2022 take a look!
Something I haven’t done since College
Also something I should have done a while ago, Lino Cut of a sticker I’ve been strategically slapping up around town for the last couple years. Just 19 more of these to pull and 25 with white ink on black paper. Dropping in the webstore soon!
That new, new
It was one of those ideas I get right before drifting off to sleep come to fruition.
Blinky the Clown No. 4
14 in x 11 in painting of Blinky the Clown the longest running television clown in history, and a Colorado staple.
Something new
I thought about adding some MySpace sparkle graphics and making these into an NFTs, but then I remembered those are just expensive pogs.
Few Commission
For a new collector based off tin types from his private collection. Custer was a polarizing figure in the American west but having my painting randomly in the same color hanging next to a print from Andy Warhol’s cowboy and Indians series is pretty wild!
Belated Krampus
Couple days late, but here’s the painted version of my krampus
Howdy Cowboy
different color way of a cowboy painting from my last show.
Ashcroft Hotel
There’s a ghost town outside of Aspen called Ashcroft. During summers when I was a kid my family would go camping and explore old mine dumps, ghost towns and that like. So here’s a study of the old hotel in Ashcroft, but burning. You can check it out in person in the annex of Core New Art Space after checking out the awesome show by Michelle Lamb, Claudia Roulier, and Susie Biehl’s through November 7th.
Last One
Last Hunter S. Thompson Colorway for a while got a bunch of these 7x5” paintings framed and available in my webstore looking to move them ASAP.
If you
Never stuffed friends, cousins, siblings, in the trunk before going to the drive in, can you really call yourself a Coloradan?
